Gerald Solomon received his JD in 1982 from Howard University, magna cum laude, and ranked first in his class. He received his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University in accounting. He was admitted to the Maryland State Bar Association in 1982. He is also admitted to the practice before the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
